They did this one when I saw them in 2017. Much better song than I think it gets credit for.

I like the whole album, even though I regard it more as an Axl Rose side project than a proper Guns 'n Roses album. I've been a fan since 1987. Saw them at Donington 1988. Love all the albums but I have never really rated Axl as a great live singer.

First album I ever bought with my own money when I was 15. My uncle got me into rock music when he heard me listening to Linkin Park and he introduced me to Nirvana, Queen, the Smiths, pink floyd and of course GnR. I just had to buy this album because if how much he loved this band and honestly it's a very good hard rock album not the best in the world but it doesn't deserve the so so reviews it got by fans

I've been a Gunz fan from the beginning. When this album came out it was disappointing to a lot of the Gunz fans, myself
Included. The album in itself is Brilliant. But I expected a GnR record and this just wasn't it. I love GnR, Axl, Slash and all the rest of it. However, in my mind this is not a GnR album. I refer to this a Axl and Friends. It's basically an Axl Rose solo album.

I'm a huge GNR fan but honestly when I listen to the chinese democracy it just doesn't fell like GNR

Maybe partly because of the completely different musicians, like the guitarists sound so different from Slash, then prehaps because of trying to get a bit more modern sound too (like in this song wich specially doesn't sound like GNR). And this album feels too more like something personal from Axl Rose than from GNR, like the lyrics, though many of the GNR lyrics were from his point of view too. How I see it and propably others too, maybe not about eerything.

Thought that to but after re listening to the album again lately fucking genius got to admit I was soooo wrong fucking brilliant.

Damn, this album really shouldn't have been released as G'N'R...

It's got some seriously cool songs on it (like this one), but sounds absolutely NOTHING like what people think of as G'N'R. I can absolutely understand the hate from that angle.

As a G'N'R album, it's total shite.

As an album in its own right, it's pretty damn good.
