Guess Who, The - Your Nashville Sneakers Lyrics

I dig your suspenders
I get it on for your jeans
But your Nashville sneakers always drag me down
I like your blue Cougar
And your bona fide keys
But your Nashville sneakers always drag me down
One by one, the sneakers they will fade, dear
Left out in the sun to dry
Sketching shots of good dates that we've played, dear
Never to be forgotten but remembered

This is one of the "Guess Who's" greatest songs of all time. What,s ironic is, most of the general public isn't familiar with it. Rockin' is the Guess Who's best album. All of the "cult fans" will tell you so.

+TheGoldenManAndTheFrog I do have it on CD and the sound is very good but not as good as vinyl. Just read on his facebook page where this is one of Burton Cummings top 3 favorite Guess Who albums too.

+gary grey I've heard other people say the record sounds better too. Just out of curiosity, what were the other two "Guess Who" albums he chose?

+TheGoldenManAndTheFrog His words were "Rockin' "…one of my favourite two or three GW albums. We did the whole thing in four studio days.

+gary grey Yeah. I have a copy of "Rockin" signed by Gary Peterson and I remember him telling me that it was a "live studio" album that they had done in less than a week. It's funny that it turned out to be one of their more creative records. Thanks for all the info.
