I love my Green Day, been listening to music for probably longer than a sane man would, (I'm 43) and often find myself bored and done with music.
Then, Green Day came along and released this, along with Forever Now, and it's just a breath of fresh air, TONS of soul and feeling!

it could start with a classic 50s/60s suburb/town of a father and son playing in the yard, then fade to today's time with drones and cellphones. from there we get the band playing in the streets, and throughout the song we see all the things that make up 21st century America. then it ends with a zooms out of the town to a "welcome sign" of sorts, or pans up into the sun and disolves into white.

or a story of a child having a rough childhood, and scences of him dreaming at different ages, having a wonderful time, and then waking up to the harsh reality
