Graveyard - Endless Night Lyrics
I see you right through the charade
No way I'm going back again.
Give me a name for all that's bad
Seems to me it's all I've got.
Oh, my try, it leads in vain.
Some people think that I'm the man
Because I've thrown away all that I had.
I don't think no one learns
So many tries have come to help.
I was born to endless nights
Oh, my try, it leads in vain.
Some people think that I'm the man
One last try before things fail
With my luck I'll end up in jail.
I'm going to war, to war with myself
Putting my head, my head on the shelf.
I'm losing our battles all over again
I'm going to war, to war with myself.
I was born to endless nights
Oh, my try, is in vain.
Some people think that I'm the man
Because I've thrown away all that I had.

Buééé, bueééé, bléééé, hééééé.
Reminds me of Doors. . .lyrics wise anyhows, which in turn reminds me of William Blake the poet, duh. Here. . .from, "Auguries of Innocence"
"Every Night & every Morn
Some to Misery are Born
Every Morn and every Night
Some are Born to sweet delight
Some are Born to sweet delight
Some are Born to endless Night
We are led to Believe a Lie
When we see not Thro the Eye
Which was Born in a Night to perish in a Night
When the Soul Slept in Beams of Light
God appears & god is Light
To those poor Souls who Dwell in Night
But does a Human Form Display
To those who Dwell in Realms of day"
LONG LIVE THE GOAT!!

I see you right through the charade
Now I’m going back again
Giving in for all that’s bad
Seems to me it’s all I’ve got
I was born to endless night
All my trying is in vain
Some people think that I am mad
Because I’ve thrown away all that I had
I don’t fool no one else
So many tries have gone to hell
I was born to endless night
All my trying is in vain
Some people think that I am mad
Because I’ve thrown away all that I had
One last try before things fail
With my luck I’ll end up in jail
I’m going to war, to war with myself
Putting my head, my head on a shelf
I’m losing all battles all over again
I’m going to war, to war with myself
I was born to endless night
All my trying is in vain
Some people think that I am mad
Because I’ve thrown away all that I had
Feet have been tapped and the music gods declared it was good
Love this Band!
this is scummusic !
oh hell, how i can relate to this song! The rolling drums and great musical progression in this song, makes this right here, probably to one of the most uplifting war chants :D about the negativity that lurks in ourselves!
"I'm going to war, to war with myself"
cheers^^
cool as f!ck!!
Anyone know who the woman in this is?
This song is huge. I love it. Sad the band broke up.
Can someone explain to me what "I was born to endless nights" may mean?
he was born in a endless night. but i´m not sure
it means that he lieks to ride road at night. so he was born to be in world with endless nights so he can ride forever.
Isn't that a Morrison lyric.. from *'End of The Night'*
"Every Night & every Morn
Some to Misery are Born
Every Morn and every Night
Some are Born to sweet delight
Some are Born to sweet delight
Some are Born to Endless Night"
Auguries of Innocence
By
William Blake
I interpret this as he is stuck in a vicious circle (substance addiction, crime, etc.). He is trying to get clean (whatever his vice is) but can't. He seems to be destined to have bad luck and keeps fucking up his life.
just found out about this band and I love them
Me too.
They just split up I seen. Sucks because they sound great.
On the bright side the song too much is not enough from their last album was the best send off
Well, they are coming back, check their Facebook page :)
Will do
i found them in a stoner radio and now i can't stop listening to them, i'm fucking fell in love with you guys

riff sounds a little like breadfan
Fuck , this song is amazing , i love Graveyard !
The GTO is all it took for me to be hooked
I'm seeing Graveyard for the first time tonight with 199 other fortunate souls. Rock and Roll!

Modern music with a big kiss to the 70´s!! Yeah..
Me dan ganas de reventarme contra el pavimento vieja
Probably one of the best bands ever.
+HorrorCandyBox Agree..Also, the best nowdays.
Love this band
That's debatable
don't visit 9gag often, but also due to conversation about shitty music got linked to this genius band, don't even remember loving whole discography as in this case
@Evhen Rudenko they are great! check out Horisont (another great Swedish retro-hard band, furthermore - from the same city) and Blues Pills (very nice blues-rock band with female vocals). You may also like Rival Sons - another great rock band with retro feel.
+ыещтук кщсл Kadavar, Spiders and Vidunder as well. Need to be mentioned.
Thank you guys, for food xD
Sounds like Clutch... I like it!
random click, always best click
go graveyard !!!!!!!!
This is the band of the moment for me... rocked Mastodon/Clutch... I'm a fan. The old school sound with a dark modern twist.
I'm so obsessed with this band!
Oh man is this band not perfect, an amazing vocalist, great drums, an amazing bass line, and some interesting but simple guitar riffs.
One last song @nomadtraveller100

Sounds like The Cult. Awesome.
Thanks 9gag!!!
Here cus of 9gag
@Andy Birger
really? Maybe you'll understand how things work when you get out of your shell. Don't expect further response with what you said
@op cynical I don't need a response, I'm just calling you out on being homophobic. You used a discriminating word for "homosexual" as an insult and that's that.
@op cynical You're an idiot.
@Andy Birger 9gag used to be cool now it's total fagortry nyahahaha xP
Fuck! I want a cigarette!!

Sydney 2014 soundwave ..great show
man,there 40 squares in here!!!
Amazing to hear this live!
Pure pleasure!
it can be more Rockandrollish, fuck this is good! that voice
This band is do good! I wonder why they're so unpopulaire today.
I enjoy GRAVEYARD when I see for the first.
This Incomparable voice... best Band I heard in the last few years!
ok well that is like ur opinion man
@jaymez42 Do you involve the singin style on your comparison? They seem quite different, I listened to just a few songs from the Dream Theater, and the vocals sounded pretty boring to me, could you cite some particular songs you have in mind which could help making this comparison clearer? Thanks.
ye they are defenitily not alike, i guess ur just some dream theater fanboy, right
@jaymez42 Comparing Graveyard to Dream Theater is like comparing Iron Maiden to Britney Spears, I´m sorry. Think you got lost, maybe it helps if I call the wannabe-rocker-helpline...
dreamofmelancholy yupp
Blues FUCKING Pills!!!!
Devil Horns!!
This music is awesome !
Great song, definitely inspired by Breadfan riff.
i couldn't imagine that Nuclear Blast would have such a band !!!!! Well done guys !!!!
this is it, man
not a great budget video XD
Driving this beautiful pontiac through a foresty road with Graveyard on full volume...
Priceless
I love how Nuclear Blast records writes back in all of these wonderful comments :)
Southern rock/ doom rock music is really becoming popular, maybe it's gonna mark this decade !
also great! :D
Kadavar is great! Along with Scorpion Child, Orchid, Blues Pills as well... :)
What a story! That's awesome! :)
I do beleive they surpassed Zepellin
the spirit of Deep Purple is strong in this one
Rival Sons and Graveyard, both best bands nowadays. They could play in Brazil.
like a youtube.com/watch?v=rC28zdxOuRQ
Just simply amazing, I heard this band with my basketball coach on our way to a game a couple of months back and I have been listening to them ever since. Great band, great vocals, I hope this band goes on for a very long time
I have an erection. Great!
muito muito fodaaaa
It's just great the way it is, but it would've been even greater if it was recorded on a real road!!!
Saw at Hellfest, brilliant!
still so good.
main rif of the song is very reminiscent of budgie's breadfan.
Just discovered this band!! Can't stop listening!

I've discovered this band yesterday and i've non-stop listened to their music since then!
True! hahaha
this introriff is one of the coolest sounds ive heard in a long time. great tune
How'd I get from The Aristocrat's "Blues Fuckers" to here? Oh well, definitely no complaining.
you forget about rival sons! ;)

You know why, it's all the Pakistani PPI callers doing 2nd job :)
...you mean 'House of the Rising Sun' isn't by Led Zeppelin/Pink Floyd/The Beatles???

Watch this tripping.... FUCKING. EPIC.
'Zeppelin of the 21st Century !
I love most Graveyard songs. They've got a genuine quality, like going out in nature, and take a deep breath of fresh air. Graveyard grounds me.
