Gorillaz - Starshine Lyrics
Starshine, when you gonna find me?
Starshine, they ain't gonna find me
Starshine, when you gonna find me?
Starshine never gonna find me
Jumping up, I'm low, low, low, low
Show me down
Starshine, when you gonna find me?
Starshine, they ain't gonna find me
Starshine, when you gonna find me?
Starshine, never gonna find me

I can play the bass to this song, happy
This song goes so smooth with gravity 🤩
starshineeeeeeeeeeeeee 2019 12 18
First time I heard this song was in the french Wasabi movie . The scene where the Yakuza boss plays golf in the middle of night life tokyo , so futuristic and yet so distopian . It always served as a contradiction , one of the most populated cities in the world , yet at night you can feel so alone and disconnected . They have done it with few other songs , Tomorrow comes today , Double bass . Que pasa contigo . I just find Gorillaz so fascinating
It’s so weird, I have to listen to a Gorillaz song more than once before I decide that I like it. When I first listened to this song I thought nothing of it, but now it has a whole new meaning.....
AAAHHHHHHH
THIS IS SO FUCKIING GOOD
HOW DID I NOT NOTICE, IM FAN FOR 4 FUCKING YEARS
WASSABİ
Gorillaz buen disco
Desde Chile
Damn, Feel Nostalgia...
Das Lied kenne ich aus dem Film Wasabi 😅😉😂👍

The guitar is amazing on this song
Zombies Ate My Neighbors
Sir Albar it's the only song i can"t sing perfectly from you
Wasabi !
The beginning always reminds me of steady as she goes
i'm just imagine Noodle suffering after coming back to Plastic Beach. she's broken and fallen after these hard times of surviving and when she has was trying to find Murdoc to get revenge on him. i don't remember if her emotions about returning to band were described or anything, but i still thinking how much she regret that. the band's ruined, Murdoc's abusive personality makes thing much harder. i dunno. that's how i listen to Starshine
I always thought this sounds like Salad Fingers.
Fucking haters are pissing me off now. This album is nearly 20 yrs old
I first listened to this song after I randomly downloaded Gorillaz songs on LimeWire. I was surprised and a bit spooked at hearing it first. It is so unlike anything they have made. So depressed, mellow and haunting. Much different from Feel Good Inc.
Clap clap
I love you guys
So many memories...
Is no one gonna acknowledge the fact that the song is disturbing as hell? No? Ok.
It is. Thats what he aimed for.
@ruu Yep, it's one of my favorites honestly.
this song reminds me of being trapped in the dessert
this song reminds me of a glowing mushroom forest
the most ethereal experience I ever had was playing this through my speakers while I bike commuted home on a cold, rainy, dark winter morning.
This song is great it,s kind of lonely though it makes me imagine im walking through the dessert at night with nothing to keep me company but the moon light a dark expanse of sand for miles no human being or life for miles alone in never ending landscape of sand
Got the cool got the cool star shine
This and Ball&Chain, songs of my soul

Ima leave this here for myself, but if you adore this Line as much as I do feel free to use it Aswel lol
спасибо за трек
The strongest dose of nostalgia I get with any music is with this song and my memories of covertly obliterating my bedtime as a kid playing vanilla World of Warcraft on my laptop in bed and listening to this song and album. Shreking lvl ~30s on my lvl 60 T1/T2 Tauren druid in Stranglethorn Vale with this song specifically. Good times. "Staaaarfire never gonna gank meeeeee"
Eu era criança e ouvia porque meu padrasto tinha o CD. Aprendi á gostar!
mad tune
Lonely may as well be what's correct
Kinda wish the military would go fuck its fucking self kinda
I like this soundtrack
I need a grunge cover of this song, it gets me in the mood to rock the fuck out. I’m weird I guess

There....
probably the closet Gorillaz will get to avant-rock
give me back my 2007 plz
Or maybe it's a tired celebrity...even stars can get weary from shining too much. That's why you can't see them all the time.
First time i heard this song was in a Jean Reno movie where he beated everyone after he played golf...cathartic
depressing, nostalgic, yet fucking awesome...i want to go back to 2000's when eveything used to be simple..
The good old days
if i had a theme song, this would be it.
This album is underrated af
I listen to this while walking on the Moon....
Siempre me ha encantado está rara canción. Quizás me gusta lo que me hace sentir un poco sumergida en el misterio.
Such a good song! my dad broke my leg again
You ok bro
Like, legit
This song reminds me of my girlfriend, I called her Starshine. I just feel so happy when I listen to this song.
my right ear is disappointed :(
one of their greatest songs. this shit just dances in my mind. the beat fires waves through my ears and into my brain like rarely any other song.
Wazabi (y)
This song reminds me of a lonely space princess looking for her star partner...
sTARSHINEEEEEEEEE; WHEN YA GONNa fInD mE
Am I the only one who thinks that this song is abaout feeling insignificant and not drugs? I know it's probably abaout drugs though. It's just how I feel - like everyone's out there living their best lives while I'm just rotting in my room.
Love the beat
sound like tyrone biggums
starshine, never gonna find me..
Wasabi with Jean Reno anyone? :D
Jean Reno is a God
Definitely stoned when singing this, but it’s still a good song
Emma Norfleet that's probably part of why it's good
Albarn said he and Hewlett were on heroin and hallucinogens while recording this album if I remember correctly.
is it just me, or is anyone else only hearing this song in one side of their headset???
makes me think of a turtle spacecraft with planet earth on its back flaoting in space...
しぶえのしあlぎえんめえんちえんでえくえせあのdぇ😧😙
Охуенно!
This is the stuff I’d listen to while I’m high
This song reminds me of 2006. Driving around in my first car blasting Gorillaz
Love this song. This was one of my favorite albums as a kid, listened to it on repeat. One night I dozed off while listening through and when I woke up, this song was just starting. I'd listened to the album multiple times at that point and had never heard the hidden track, thought I was still in a dream (or a nightmare, song is creepy as fuck) and was beyond confused. Such a great album and introduction to such an awesome band.
That moment when the first notes don’t even have to play for 5 seconds and you know you’re going to love the song
omg hahaha, i didnt notice that there said "geep" , instead of "jeep" haahahah
hope it finds me
Amo esta cancion ...
This song is so criminally underrated. In this short 3 and a half minute song, it gives us a story. A story about someone who tried to kill themselves and is trapped in limbo between life and death. All with one simple guitar riff, and very basic lyrics. It's sad to see. You always hear about feel good inc, clint eastwood, and on melancholy hill, although they are masterpieces in their own right, this song is often looked over and forgotten.
Esta canción te penetra la mente. <3
This song reminds me of the book Unwind. The song really kind of fits the “delinquents on the run from the police” setting.
I think that 2-D is aware of the fact that he is a fictional character and because of that he is depressed and jaded, it seems to be an ongoing theme for him
Love that guitar, bass, whatever
This song reminds me how much i miss my childhood.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
This song sounds like ketamine
Lol my YouTube channel name XD
Starshine xd
1000th comment? Aight.
Get the cool Starshine
It's impressive listening to their first songs and compare it to their latest stuff. Just comes to show far Damon has come in the past 17 years as an artist under this project.
This reminds me of walking in a barren, empty desert. The sand is kicking up everytime to lug your foot forward, the hot beams of sun burning through your shirt.
This song represents me while playing hide and seek
