Gomez - Our Goodbye Lyrics
At the moment, it has all become
A bit much for you, too much to be done
But no answer and no letter came
It's a lovely mess of getting shared
'Til the road we drive on meets the sky
You and I
We could sit right back, my dear, and take our time
Travel light
And the ash you flick from your fingertips will flash
Past their eyes, our goodbye
You know they hate you, they have always done
And their stupid ways from the highest run
Please don't look back to the very start
You've been so patient
They don't know what they'll lose
We should ride toward the sunset
'Til the road we drive on meets the sky
You and I
We could sit right back, my dear, and take our time
Travel light
And the ash you flick from your fingertips will flash
Past their eyes, our goodbye
I won't ask you why
I won't trouble you at all
We should ride toward the sunset
'Til the road we drive on meets the sky
You and I
We could sit right back, my dear, and take our time
Travel light
And the ash you flick from your fingertips will flash
Past their eyes, our goodbye
Will flash
Past their eyes, our goodbye

What a voice!!!! Moon and Sun brought me here to this song, so much love <3
Awesome, they should do a cover of a recent tune to get back in to the lime light.
These guys are the real deal for me. Best band at least since 1990. Real singing
Yep, and these two are the powerhouse of the band. I like Ian's songs, but these two guys are massive

What a brilliant voice....this is sooo sweet!!! See these guys live if ever you get the chance!!
@reidvfx OK it's 3 months late but have you tried Ben's solo album Shapes and Shadows? There is even a +5 song acoustic special edition available. Really nice and a lot like this vid.
Tom ! <3
Loved the album version but this is as good, if not better. Roll on August 6th, Adelaide! Gomez live, the perfect b'day pressie;)
Beautiful. Tom and Ben are brilliant! Gotta love the mez!
why was the album version not acoustic? Instead the album version is way too over-produced. this version (with some embellishments) would have been amazing on the album.
Brillliant. Can't wait for the album to come out.
Oooh! Most excellent. Roll on Belfast on the 18th & Dublin on the 19th!
