+James B. Davis, Monstrologist and Entertainer It's a jazz/math rock kind of drumming. It isn't in the box, it fills in the spaces between notes, but yeah if you focus on it that can be frustrating.

+Ocult Weekly Its basically two drum loops at once which gives this sense of weirdness to the thing.

I do not agree with you. It is to me a song trying to discribe an emotion/ feeling for wich there are no words, into words.. One needs to read between the lines and listen in between beats. The organized chaos of the drums is creating spaces/ voids it seems, room for the mind. That's why it is something beond what dominates the music and one of their best tracks to me.

I see how people are a little confused by the drums. I was too the first time I heard this song, but it totally makes sense to me now. It's like the drums force you to listen closely. Listen closely and you will hear that it matches the rhythm of the song.

Why isn't this kind of music more mainstream? Are people (in general) really that superficial? I don't know that I'll ever understand the mainstream... THIS is kind of music that speaks to me! NOT all the other meaningless mindless music I hear far too much of on the radio.

Cee-Lo, more than probably any other artist I know, consistently brings real substance to his music --- which is a rare trait indeed.

I love the energy of this song.

From the opening beat this song leaves you scratching your head. Then you realize you're listening to something beyond it's time and it doesn't 'fall' into any category of what you've heard before. This song blew me out of the water then Ceelo's vocals sent me reeling. This duo of Ceelo/Danger Mounse is truely a masterpiece.

This song is way under-appreciated.

i thought the cd was skipping when i first heard this song! this song would sound good slowed down with less noise. its just like their transformer song, when it is slowed down and live its way better. go listen to "transformer" on the album st elsewhere. then go listen to transformer live. some of their songs are just too jumbled up with background NOISE.
