Glen Campbell - One Last Time Lyrics

I can't find who wrote the song on the internet. It has a very similar sound to some of the Partridge Family stuff. . You could easily hear this being written for David Cassidy to sing.

So glad for xm radio. I never heard this song before. They played it on the Bakersfield Beat segment on Prime Country. This song is freaking amazing. The lyrics, the sound, his voice. How was this not a bigger hit? I love Rhinestone Cowboy but this song is on a different level. By the way they played a second song right after this I had never heard before called things change by Dwight Yoakam and that song is amazing.

My dear mum loved this song and I had a listen and I liked it as well.

So sad. Mr Campbell passed away 8 August 2017, after a brave battle with Alzheimers. But what an astonishing voice, and an equally astonishing musical legacy.

That clarifies something for me. I saw him in concert a few years ago, and his behavior was bizarre. He was obviously in the early stages and probably on a lot of meds. Wish I could have seen him at his peak.
