Deftones and Glassjaw toured together in 2000 Saw the show in Cleveland, OH at the Agora theater, I was 15. Glassjaws demo was a cassette. Been hooked ever since.

Roseland NYC for that show. it was great and in between bands the house played faith no more's king for a day record.

Saw that tour as well. Fucking amazing.

Deftones and Glassjaw are ironically 2 of my top 3. Tool being the other. I think there's similarities in certain ways but I don't really compare them much at all or think of one when I hear the other. Except for the fact that they're my favorite. lol

Honestly one of the best songs I've heard ever. I can truly never get tired of this and Daryl's vocals are amazing in this song.

Non Sum Eram Hm not really, Glassjaws music is a lot more dissonant than deftones especially now. Elements of their sound are very similar but overall they have their own sounds

I hear Botch in that guitar, and definitely it is only glassjaw. but now that LiveFastDieYoung15 said it, Muhfuckin' Egypt could be a good explanation I suppose, it does sound like Egypt a little bit.

There's a hint of Defontes in the end with his screaming/screeching and whatnot, but by no means exactly like Deftones at all.

i was really sceptical about glassjaw coming back. so many lineup changes and the fact it's been almost a decade since worship and tribute made me think that they would sound irrelevant. holy shit was i wrong.

@1oneeyeAnomaly There's a reason these "shit" bands put out an LP every year....they have to. Thats a big problem with labels and their contracts. Most bands spend their entire lives putting together their first albums then are forced to pump them out after it hits.

They are on their third vinyl single release already (Natural Born Farmer) and we know there are at least two more songs (stars, john lennon). A couple months ago ChaunceyCC teased with a pic of the "glassjore EP" so I'm betting the EP is going to continue to be released as singles, maybe no full release at all?
