@Rossella Misantoni Io all'epoca avevo letto la notizia. Ma come riconoscere in quel signore scheletrito il Giovane Robin? Peraltro in Italia non si erano quasi mai visti, e questo rimane un mistero. La prima volta in RAI è stato nel '72 e Robin a metà anni '80. Manco sapevo chi fosse chi fino a un paio di mesi fa, quando ricercando le loro romantiche canzoni di fine anni '60 ho visto le performance di Robin. Ed è stato un colpo di fulmine...tardivo! 💘 All'epoca di "SNF" ero in Inghilterra, ma ho sempre detestato il falsetto di Barry.

@Li Lise Quando è successo che anche Robin ci ha lasciati. Non l' ho saputo. perchè in quel periodo avevo poco tempo di guardare la tv, perchè avevo mia madre che non stava bene e se anche il TG l'ho avesse detto, non avevo molto libero per ascoltarlo. Adesso anche lei purtroppo non ce più e il mio tempo e più libero. Ogni volta che guardo le foto di Robin nei video, com'era molto prima della sua malattia a poco prima della sua scomparsa, mi chiedo spesso se veramente era lui il nostro Robin!

@Rossella Misantoni Già il tempo è crudele, ma sembra impossibile poter cambiare cosi'. I cambiamenti di Robin negli anni sono stati assurdi e repentini. C'è chi parla di droghe...io penso malattia o depressione. Anche perdere i capelli cambia molto una persona. Del resto com'è cambiato anche Barry dai 30 ai 40! Loro negli anni '80 erano "on fire", si sono esposti a un sovraccarico di impegni massacrante. E' una vita che consuma, guarda il cambiamento dei Beatles in pochissimi anni. Droghe, parties, stravizi, depressione e cambiamenti di umore repentini. Il Robin che trovo più attraente è quello adolescente, puro, romantico e geniale di fine anni '60. È possibile cambiare cosi tanto dentro?

@Li Lise e Rossella Misantoni. Condivido molto della vostra esperienza sui Bee Gees. Li ho sempre amati fin dalle loro prime canzoni degli anni 60. Spesso ho guardato video delle loro esibizioni. Grandi musiche, canzoni e stili che hanno segnato un'epoca, voci inconfondibili, ragazzi particolarmente attraenti e piacevoli da ascoltare e vedere. Ultimamente ho intensificato l'ascolto, mi è venuta nostalgia dello loro melodiose armonie, delle loro stupende canzoni. Ho scoperto un nuovo Robin. Ho sempre amato da sua dolce e particolare voce ma sono rimasta stupefatta dal suo cambiamento fisico che non ricordavo. Non parlo di quello degli ultimi anni, purtroppo segnati dalla malattia ma quello che si era verificato tra i 60 i 70. Sono stati sufficienti una sistemata ai denti e mettere su qualche chilo per trasmormarlo in un ragazzo, secondo me, bellissimo. Un fisico tonico, un viso dolcissimo un sorriso impareggiabile. Fascino, eleganza nei movimenti e sex appeal da vendere. Un vero spettacolo nello spettacolo, un geniale musicista che ci ha lasciato troppo presto. RIP carissimo Robin

I have a problem with some of Robin's 80s production. I don't like it when he sings so high & shrill. Otherwise this song is incredible, such emotion and passion! Wow! The lyrics are among his best ever.

I totally agree with you, Louisa. Much prefer his voice in the 60s and 70s (before disco) but the lyrics are quite good.

The other brothers are with him in spirit as well as his parents. They was the Gibb brothers before they was the bee gees can't separate that.,its 2019 I'm sure Barry still feel the lost of his brothers I'm sure he miss them . we all do..
