He wasn't too happy with the acting and attitudes of Madonna and Sean Penn. They were too full of themselves at that time and gave him and the making of the film a rough time. Youthful spoilt brats. As for the song, George Harrison is always a top of the line classic recording artist and performer.

Great underrated song. It would be nice if they did a de eighties removal of that free as a bird snare in a remaster. It dates the song to that era.

John-Paul mostly wrote love songs, but George wrote spiritual, devotional, protest, psychedelic, revolution, philosophical, love, erotic, satire, humorous and sad songs. He was versatile than John and Paul combined.

He had hundreds of songs ready to be recorded when he was with the Beatles, but was only allowed one or two tracks per album, with the rest going to McCartney/Lennon. He expressed his frustration many times publicly. McCartney and Lennon actually rejected songs which when recorded and released by George solo went to number one on the charts.

When the Beatles went their separate ways George was the first to release a solo album, a double LP entitled All Things Must Pass and was critically and commercially successful on release, with long stays at number 1 on charts around the world. His albums always did better than Paul's or John's. His first album contained the song Isn't It A Pity, which expressed his love for his former band mates.

@TheBluewaterBlonde very much true, man. I think John and Paul are very much overrated in a way. Of course don't get me wrong here, both of them truly deserve all those applaud fans give them. What I mean, however, George just hasn't got his due, you know, the recognition he should've get all this time to the level of John and Paul, if not above them.
