I recently seen Gene for the first time. One of my all time favorites. Absolutely incredible!!! Once if the best concerts I've ever seen, Tomball Texas, I've seen plenty, Merle, Elvis, George many times... Touched my heart. Still killing it Mr. Watson! Incredible. You were singing some Merle songs, I had a tear in my eye every song.

He isn't in the Nashville Click as they say as he has always lived in Texas. The junk they are recording these days is strictly for the 20 something crowd Take out the Booze...Partying and Trucks and Backroads and what else do you have in the songs. It is sad that this Music isn't being played that much at all. Watson should have been in the Hall of Fame years ago. There are singers in there who are horrendous singers and couldn't begin to follow him on stage
