Lol most of the comments are about Metal Gear. You get a break when a genius sees you are fit for a psychological trailer.

This song just popped into my head for no reason. So freakin strange. First time I've ever searched for this song. Does anyone know where this song was featured?

It always befuddles me when I find some quite well-viewed song I never heard before, and find the comment section flooded with references I don't get. Kinda surreal, not that I'm complaining.

You've been in a coma for quite some time

What I really like about this song that it's title is in general really punk like and it would be logical for that kind of statement to get song that is hardcore and fast like "Push it" or "Why do you love me" but instead thanks to the choice of tempo, arrangement and style of singing we get something that is not like that, but also it's not like some ordinary ballad. Actually it is like lullaby or even at the end similar to nursery rhimes.
And the main feeling that I get is not some kind of angst or rebellion, but disappointment. And not disappointment of "us" or "me" by them (as the title would suggest)..but them by "us" because in our superficiality "we" can't understand how ugly and destructive dishonesty or "fakeness" could really be. But even the nature of that disappointment is passive and even somehow warm in it's acceptance of state of things.
Purposely that kind of "lullaby" arrangement helps us that towards the end of the song we get attuned to the inevitable indifference of the world which is in accord with the feeling of that kind of dissapointment.

I get the feeling that Hideo Kojima used the song to describe his relationship with Konami at the end.

I don't think I've ever seen another game as polarizing as MGSV. Many people hate it, but also many people (including me) love it. I've never met anyone with a neutral opinion on it. Since it has super refined gameplay and kind of a shitty story, I guess it just comes down to what people value more in a game
