So I was 1:37 in when the tears started. Almost 6 minutes in now and I'm just crying. I'm in my mid 30's, always loved the blues since I discovered Zeppelin in highschool (my parents stuff) then went back and listened to old blues who inspired Zeppelin, Hendrix, etc.
If you've been through some shit in your life this music literally is the feelings that correlate to your pain. But damn in such a good way.
Rory is absolutely amazing... I feel like him and I are kindred spirits. RIP Rory- many miss you ❤️

Wonderful tone, beautifully understated guitar lines, every note perfect.  Wish more current blues players listened to Rory, there'd be a lot less slop masquerading as the blues.

My favourite thing about Rory is his knowledge of just how much to put into each note/chord. He never overplays it for effect, he gives it the right amount, the right touch. Blows me away the mastery. Another one that lives by this is Derek Trucks....easy playing with no pushing it when it doesn't need it. Love them both. And who is that piano player in this one...he is gooooood.
