I would hate to hear this rereleased. Look what happened to Model rockets, BUT! Bogart was very well done on Rose, the others were terrible.

+Mike Krahn I have to disagree. I didn't like Rockets, but I never really had an affection for that song. I thought Bogart was incredible, Lipstick was also great, and Twelve Feet Deep is one where I go back and forth between the versions and find having two different versions to mix things up with is nice. Also love the version of Be Nice to Me.


Awkward conversations and Rockets were the only tracks on the album that didn't do it for me, and they're both songs I was kind of ambivalent towards anyway. I think a freshly mixed version of this song where certain parts weren't obscenely overpowering compared to the other parts and the entire song itself wasn't way way quieter than the rest of the album would be awesome. Also think it would be interesting to hear a new take on the song considering the sound they have going on now that they've actually settled on a permanent band lineup. And if it ends up bad, it's not like this version goes away.

You can't beat their old vocals though 

That's absolutely true, I just wish the mix was better on this old version. It's totally out of whack and it's such a fantastic song and deserves to sound better.
