I’m going to do a little educating.
1: Tim, the old drummer, wrote nothing. Zero. Zilch.
2. The new drummer joined after leaving Trivium so he is a HIGH caliber drummer. He simply drummed to fit the music, which is what a true musician does.
3. Branden did almost all of the screaming on Day One. Chris can’t scream anywhere near as good as Branden.
4. If you PREFER Chris’ voice, that’s totally your opinion and you’re allowed to like him more, BUT he is in no way a “better” singer

DiceStorm X RAY it doesnt have to be super hard to be a kick ass rock song. They most likely kept it soft because of the lyrical content

I see what you mean, but when the musical rythmic not really captive your intention, it doesn't mean that the lyrics are not too, I prefere Light it up for exemple, a rather aggressive rap with clear lyrics and a chorus that remains in the lead, the progressive i dont know if you know what i mean ?

@DiceStorm X RAYwhen rock music started in the 50s it wasn't hard rock just some bands who sang with message or kept up with trends.Each band has it's own unique sound if you are a true rock fan you should know this.Some songs don't need a heavy vocals.This song has a deep message therefore it doesn't need heavy content added for example.When bands write music they write with feelings and even sometimes what the6 gone through what others go through too and sing about it that's why rock music is underrated because they make music with messages.Listen to rap you just get brainwashed.

I listening some music with an intense message don't worry about that but i understand what are you saying me right now. I heard a lot of music, anything of gender music with deep message, i listen all style of music, even rap, but i don't even know all the classic raps with they message, you know i just listen music and i like it and i listen carefully but for FATN on this record they 're a little bit too soft, its good i like their songs, but it's not the same thing if you listen the first one, i love every songs on the first one thats why i m saying they too soft on this one, thats doesn't mean i dont like it :) and that doesnt mean too i don t hear the message ^^
