Free - Trouble On Double Time Lyrics
I've been a bad bad boy
And I know I should be good
A bad boy
So long that it must be in my blood oh!
Oh! yeah
Let me tell you this
I've been feelin' my way
Every chance I get
You know I love every woman
Every woman you can bet
Trouble on double time
You know my school teacher
Told me before I left school
Not a man but a fool
Feelin' my way
Every chance I get
You know I love every woman
Every woman you can bet
Trouble on double time
Feelin' my way
Every chance I get
You know I love every woman
Every woman you can bet
Trouble on double time
It's driving me out of my mind
Driving me out of my mind
Driving me out of my mind

Free's second album was recorded with the band itself in considerable turmoil. Principal songwriters Paul Rodgers and Andy Fraser demanded strict discipline from their bandmates, and guitarist Paul Kossoff in particular equally demanded the spontaneity and freedom that had characterized the group's debut. It was an awkward period; both Kossoff and drummer Simon Kirke came close to quitting, (Apparently Koss wanting to join the Stones or Jethro Tull) and only the intervention of Island label chief Chris Blackwell seems to have prevented it. Few of these tensions, however, are evident on the finished album. (Tribute, again, to Blackwell's powers of diplomacy.) He replaced original producer Guy Stevens early into the sessions and, having reminded both warring parties where the band's strengths lay, proceeded to coax out an album that stands alongside its predecessor as a benchmark of British blues at the turn of the 1970s. Who would have thought that a band based on friendship nearly ended after one album.

This song I've wanted to cover for DECADES along with "I'll be Creepin"....hard, old-school, classic underground rock.....this album is fukkin huge and one of the few bands songs I ever wanted to cover besides my own music
I just learned it myself :D really damn hard to sing and play at the same time

The singer and drummer are 20 yrs old, the bass player is 16, the keyboardist is 21 and the guitar player is 19 at the time this was recorded. This song can never be called "old", its the audio of teenagers and young 20 yr old captured in time.. Fucking bad ass too by the way Paul has got a sound. When I say sound I mean like CCR has a "sound".
the keyboardist is the bassist......
