Frank Sinatra - Old Devil Moon Lyrics

I look at you and suddenly, something in your eyes I see;
Soon begins bewitching me.
It's that old devil moon that you stole from the skies.
It's that old devil moon in your eyes.
You and you glance make this romance too hot to handle.
Stars in the night, blazing their light can't hold a candle;
To your razzle-dazzle.
You've got me flyin' high and wide, on a magic carpet ride;
Full of butterflies inside.
Wanna cry, wanna croon, wanna laugh like a loon.
It's that old devil moon in your eyes.
Just when I think, I'm free as a dove.
Old devil moon, deep in your eyes, blinds me with love.

    Sinatra re-recorded this version in 1963. A bit different and more enthusiasm then the ‘56 version. Both great. He also gathered together Ella, Louie Armstrong, Ertha Kit, Oscar Peterson and others to do a Cartoon version of Finians Rainbow. Sinatra was a thin Cool Cat, Louie his short fat sidekick and Ella his sexy kitten. 1955 and Frank and Nelson’s first version never to be released. No one had done any famous talents in a cartoon. It also was mostly BLACK entertainers. After recording the entire tracks, no company would take that chance. Too bad THAT was going to be ground breaking and GREAT...

    This is the remake from 1963, which I actually like a little better. But the video is a bit misleading. I was expecting the 1956 version from Songs For Swinging Lovers.
