As a graphic artist in NM, I have a particular gripe about logo design. One example in the Circle K gas/convenience station. So I'm making an information warfare arrest. NK. First off, I'm buying hot gas. The red logo says so. Will this has explode on me? This probably means the designers meant to buy the food inside. This means I expect good customer service. But there Is no phone, which I expect, and I'm surrounded by unfriendly people so I want to leave. Maybe, if they put cell phones for sale? There are no ce!l phones. Where is K on the alphabet and what does it mean? In the middle and okay. So you attract younger people. It looks boxed in. Does Circle K have less hold-ups? Maybe, but I'm terrified to go in there anyway. The gas is Shell TM gas which makes me think of fish so I notice how much the store stinks inside. I starting getting afraid I'm going to get boxed in and they're going to tell me they don't have what I need. Circle means mart. I see that, but they're selling quick gas. Solution: Change the name to Circle Save and make the logo have some wavy active lines in cool or even warm colors. This will make peope less afraid of exploding gas and getting trapped inside and more willing to come and go, or stay awhile and shop. Have phones available for sale and hire a security guard, may be more windows and white walls...
