This song is actually literal as fuck. One of the guy's gang members was talking to the "alphabet boys" (feds) so he put "some bread" (a bounty) on his head, and he was brought to one of his warehouses. Turns out he's his niece's boyfriend, but he kills him anyway. The part of the song after the line you mentioned goes into more detail about how he considering shooting him but he thought it was better to burn him "like a cinder", and how he covered him in gasoline to do so (pour it in my tank, now it's absorbed in your skin), so lighting the match quite literally refers to doing so in order to light the dude on fire.
