Deri Rian basically bc those are SCHOOLS (full of kids and teenagers). When the war happened (in the books), all the teachers were concerned about that, but many students refused to leave, because they wanted to fight against Voldemort... at the end many of them died. But yeah... that’s the main reason.

But in the movie it was like Durmstrang only had male students and Beuxbaton only had female students which was really weird and annoying to me
