Fightstar - Dive Lyrics
Drifting out in the morning, we are
With our eyes to the moon
Gravity pulls ever on
We take a ride on the waves
The fire drifts on the waves
Can you see it now?
Can you see it now?
It's our ghost town
The tempest has dragged us too far
With the last breath in my lungs
I surrender myself to the sea
But I belong here
The fire drifts on the waves
Can you see it now?
Can you see it now?
It's our ghost town

Fightstar Dive Comments
I like this band very much, but their vibe is "I wanted to be in Deftones, but I wasn't talented enough...."
I don't hate this, it's just, you know, by comparison....
incredible.
Gunship should do a cover of this ;) XD
Getting some Keane vibes with this.
Is perfect
Best song on the album
I think this song was perhaps written about the cross over from Fightstar to Busted "I surrender myself to the sea, but i belong here".
It can't be an easy thing to go back. Doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy what he's doing...But if Fightstar did popier music, people would just say "may aswell just do Busted" and it wouldn't be right that way.
Nevermind what everyone says, I love the heavy riff at the end it adds a powerful, destructive contrast, great stuff
that ending is the best thing ever
love fightstar man. we are the few and proud.
dat outro tho!

Awesome track musically and vocally. ...been a fan since the first album. they keep getting better.
An amazing track, the only weak point being the ending of the song... should have repeated the chorus and faded into oblivion.
Reminds me of 'what happened to you' by deftones actually
Yes!
Everytime I hear this song, I feel the same way. The heavy riff at the end just doesn't fit it at all. The chorus just going on and on like a trance would've been 50x times better.
You know if anybody did an edit of the song like that?
I actually love the heavy ending to the song, I feel like it's a really fitting end to the album as a whole. Maybe it doesn't fit the song perfectly, but in the context of the album its fantastic.
I love the ending, it adds a strong contrast, it can't always be sunshine and rianbows
You sound like you need to listen to Katy Perry for that verse meets chorus repetition rather than a band exploring awesomeness
This song.. is just pure brilliance. This is why I love fightstar :D
This is definitely the best on the album closely followed by the subtle Purple Rain tribute More Human Than Human.
Best song on the new album
