Salem Diaz yes, this music does a great disservice to God. Do you think the seraphim sing songs like this to God? Do you think Jesus and his disciples sang songs like this in the upperroom before eating? No they didn’t. A song to God is supposed to like a hymn and melodic, not full of fast paced beats like this song.

I was put in religious school most of my life and I can’t count or remember the number of times they made us sing this garbage song week after week and year upon year. Needless to say every grade in middle to high school hated this song the most.

Okay, as a Christian I love this song.. but being from a Baptist church I don't believe that's how things work.
1.) The river: Sure, you can go down to a river and get baptized, or get baptized in church, and you can pray there.. but how will you leave changed, and be never the same? Unless he's talking about getting baptized.. I don't know what he's talking about.

2.) Non-Christians: If non-Christians hear this song, they may think they may just need to get baptized to get saved. Which isn't the case..

Again I love this song.. I just feel like he could have made it a bit more specific

I think the song is meant for people that have been turned for a long period of time and understand that just baptizing won't actually save them
