Fates Warning - Something From Nothing Lyrics
Some things burden me
These thoughts cut deep
Sometimes I feel
Sometimes I see
I won't look away
We've chased our dreams
We've had our way
Stood here so long
I've forgotten what I was even looking for
Nothing changes
It's all the same if nothing changes, changes
I thought I never needed
I never thought I needed so much
I thought I never needed
Everything I knew was wrong
I never thought I needed more
Standing alone
I see what I was looking for, for so long
It's not where I am
It's everywhere I've been and where I'm going
I thought I never needed
Everything I knew was wrong
I never thought I needed so much
I thought I never needed
Everything I knew was wrong
I never thought I needed more
Take... take from nothing
Take... take from everything
Take... take from nothing
Make it, make it, make it something
So it's more, so much more than I need
So much more, so much more
I thought I never needed
Everything I knew was wrong
I never thought I needed so much
I thought I never needed
Everything I knew was wrong
I never thought I needed more

Fates Warning: My out of body experience soundtrack!
Fates Warning, Shadow Gallery, Mekong Delta and Threshold >>>>>>> Dream Theater, Symphony X
Shame on the people that call themselves fans of prog metal without having heard of the pioneers FW.
Absolute respect!
Hell, listen to all the nuances in the music here. It's not about being the most virtuoso or technical player, it's called feeling!
One of the best chorus i´ve ever heard.
Saw them in 2012, opening for Queensryche. And 2014, in the tour of Darkness in a Different Light. Both in Brazil.
Saw them in 2012 either... It wasn't a good show, but i don't care, it was epic.
I've seen fates twice in my life...and its not enough..Fates will always be my most important band...Long live Fates Warning!
Me too. Two concerts I attended. Became my favourite band since 2012 or 13. Best band in the world!
Gilbert Servantel same,. but way back in the day
guardian and then no exit
love this album!!!!!
It's so freaking sad that the majority of people on earth will ever get to hear this classic . Matheos name should be up there with Mozart . Kevin Moore supplies some keyboard on this masterpiece , of course Ray Alder delivers , Mark Zonder is the greatest drummer not named Peart . Former Armored Saint bassist Joey Vera is so freaking smmoooothhhh. My favorite band all time . ....shout out to bones and Aresti . ..
@Jon Du Bose forever fates xo
@Sindy Bernal Yeaah sure Sindy
@Abderrahim Bourkia oh yeah..forever fates
Fates Warning is my all time favorite band .. They have progressed in to one of the most influential band's... John Arch was just the beginning with his melodic voice but Ray Alder has broadened the horizons of the band with his style and his voice is one of a kind plus he's a fellow Texonian.. Jim Matheos Matheos oh man is a masterat his art and as for Frank Arresti well it wouldn't be FW with out him .... Joey " The Phenom " Vers plays like he has ten fingers on each hand I think he's one of the most if not best bass players out there and last but not least Bobby Jarzombek and his unorthodox style is just amazing he leaves me speechless at times because of his accenting ,fills
and speed oh man is simply out of this universe .... Fates Warning is the best band of all time !!!!! Rock on fellas can't wait to hear what you come out with next .... I want them to play at my wedding when and if I ever get married .....
KM is, IMO, a great fit for FW.
probably my number one favorite band right now \m/
