I agree with Glenn Weeks! I don't like this song too much either. Nobody's perfect, but the rest of the repertoire is genius!

Well, I must admit: this is not my favourite Eva song. But the problem is with the song. Definitely not her. It's the song that's not up to her usual standards, obviously. Of all the versions I've (unfortunately) heard of this song, Eva's version is still the best. As they say, she kicks ass with this one. The important point, I believe, is the way this demonstrates her ability to sing any style and do it better than anyone else attempting the same. Still feel Eva's the best with anything she sings, even with songs like this.

I agree. It's too much like Cocker. I would have loved to hear her slow it down and make it her own acoustically.

@Phillip Allen The song belongs to the Box Tops (great song, I was 16 when it came out), but I enjoyed Eva's rendition.
