Eric Clapton - Still Got The Blues Lyrics
It used to be so easy to give my heart away
I found out the hard way
There's a price I have to pay
I found in that love's no friend of mine
I should have known better time after time
It was so long, so long ago
But I've still got the blues for you
It used to be so easy to fall in love again
I found out the hard way
It's a road that leads to pain
I found in that love was more than just a game
I was playin' to win
But losin' just the same
But I've still got the blues for you
So many years since I've seen your face
Here in my heart there's an empty space
Where you used to be
Well, it was so long, so long ago
But I've still got the blues for you
Though the days come and go
There is one thing I know
I've still got the blues for you.

Eric Clapton Still Got The Blues Comments
Fabulous - and I'm 80 years old. Just recently found Clapton, Oh, what we have missed all these years. This music is REALLY MUSIC. JM
あなたを観た後輩達のカヴァーアレンジ、Gary rest in peace
Tremenda versión! un MAESTRO CLAPTON!
Viva Gary Moore, Viva Eric Clapton, que finesse
A great tribute to one of the greatest
Viejo tonto
Gary More (Eric Clapton)You Music
Tq b.. ❤
I think it’s just the way the track was cut but it sounds like when Clapton sings ‘so long, so long ago’ there’s a trace of auto tune. Hope not.
A huge difference in dynamics compared to Gary Moore's original version, but there's definitely room for this one too, fireplace, nice brandy or whiskey, just chillin'!
This song is beautifully done by Eric here. What a Tribute to Gary it is. Thanks man.
i prefer this version
Eric is god
This song gets me every time.
¡! :)
This song puts me in my feelings
Never understod the meaning of this song until this version came up. EC knows what he’s talking about.
I’m sure Gary is smiling up there when he hears this.
Eric Clapton İs GOD
Huge Eric clapton fan but Garry Moore is superior and pleasent to listen
I loved Gary More, love the intensity of that Les Paul, but Clapton IS slow hand and gives it great respect..
But eric is very good
Worst of alllllllll!!!!!!! 5 days and 54 hours I will not subscribe!
LOL
When I heard this song I feel my self rich and I like to smile for no reason
Nice of Eric about the tribute but, Garys' version is better no doubt. Not saying Gary was a better guitarist or singer than Eric or that Eric is better than Gary but, again Garys' very was much better.
No need for a comparison
a very poor guitar...Gary Moore still got the blues
you never loose the blues, especially when you are Eric Clapton
Not really. Since when does Eric Clapton have a Bluesman timbre ??
Beautiful❤️
My friend gave me this album for Christmas and I fell in love in that version!
Sounds funny, getting socks for Christmas but this one time it's actually an awesome gift.
Ex-Factor ftw
Sweet listening to all ! https://youtu.be/5lkm4MrMw2Q
ow my god very good mr.slowhand
no offence folks but it seems to me that it sounds more "natural" than the original
Any information on the music gear he used when recording this song? I'm trying to figure out which guitar he uses for the solo at the end.
Honestly it sounds like a Les Paul to me, chances are it's his Signature Strat though.
The electronics in his strat boost the mids and thicken the sound so they sound like a Les Paul.
he used this https://i.ytimg.com/vi/e5hWLdyj-yE/maxresdefault.jpg during all "Old Sock" Recording
Kinda like a pub singer version, really, to me.
..me too, no doubt!
This sound like curtch music :I ack Gary Is fast sad we Couldnt see eric and gary play it togethere insteed.
Just different but still good, Still Got The Blues, tribute to the late Gary Moore, played by Eric Clapton. ★ ★
#respect
perfect guitar solo
정수박 u
I prefer the Gary Moore one tbh but i still like it Cx
+Paragon I much prefer the Gary Moore version and I don't like this - not at all. But I always thought Moore had more blues soul, and Clapton was just an over-hyped blues wannabe.
@Gray Power Gary moore is just Far superior
@Gray Power :D over-hyped blues wannabe? go back to guitar lessons boy
Eric Clapton's interpretation is great, but.....Gary Moore's is out of this world!!!....R.I.P. my Gary!
I get so lost in this .... one only has to listen to know why
Yeah. I think it's mostly the older, mature crowd that loves this version. I get lost as well.
Wonderful !
Don't get me wrong, I really like Clapton, but there's something wrong about the sound of his voice. I know he get's old, as we all do, but somehow I get the feeling, that the voice has been worked on afterwards. It has this faint but nonetheless distinct electronic sound to it. And that gives me the feeling that this piece here is untrue, sadly.
@Michael Power
Yeah, you're probably right. Sorry. It's just that I haven't expected it on a Clapton album.
So a Clapton album can't sound current and he can't use any effects? Maybe you've never listened to a Clapton song called River of Tears...The delay is one of the best things about it.
Volker Garde geeeezzzz.... smh... really?
your wrong!
What are you Talking about?
