I listened to this in the kitchen while eating when my mom came in. After a few moments she looked at my phone on the table and asked "what are you listening to? That sounds good" (she's obviously not used to like stuff that I listen to). So I explained her Epica, this concert and symphonic metal in general. You could see her writing a note in her mind saying "symphonic metal is good".
Then we reached 6:03 and she went away...

First time I hear this music, I was at the top of the highest mountain of Italy, in a restaurant with my girlfriend...Remembering all what happens to me before, looking to the horizon and all have left behind. ....And how god was good leading me to that moment. This music means a lot to me.

I can only say, giving us such a performance somewhere this far in pregnancy is really quite extraordinary. But you can hear that this is really difficult for, therefore I admire her loyalty to their fans and the thought they put into it.

luiza duarte Nas versões acústica e estúdio às vezes fica bem melhor que ao vivo, por causa da estrutura e tbm pq é complicado ela conseguir manter sua performance no show inteiro cantando nesse nível. Enfim, tenho q admitir essa versão ficou foda !!!

Nah. Epica didn't win because there was a deadline for the votes and their voters couldn't vote because they had an eargasm which rendered them unconscious.

Do not put two women against another, at a time when there is talk about feminism and sexism. Both have talent, and do what they do best, sing. But each one within its musical genre. Do not praise one and demean another, it's not cool. We know how the music industry works and these awards are a real jerk. They judge you by the color of the skin, for being a woman and for her musical genre. So seeing a woman get where she came from is very proud.

you assume the people that decide who wins the awards know about Epica or even care about music, Byonce is just like other pop artists, just some pretty thing to make a political point, like honestly 100% sure if you take Beyonce race and her attractiveness out of the equation and she would't even be known at all, awards need to stop being given in America and instead be done in unbiased Country with actual History about Art and Music like Italy or Austria.

Well i love Epica and I dont like Beyoncé's music. But as a musician I can tell that Beyoncé is a really good singer. Its just that we dont like what she does.
Epica is maybe a little too dark for the people.

I met them on this tour when they first came to Australia and got front row... Amazing experience. They're so down to earth and are very nice people. Simone is even more stunning in person.

Got a ticket to see them in NYC in January 2020, so I may be balling my eyes out. Been dying to see them live since I discovered them in 2016.

They gave a concert at The Masquerade, here in town, this past February.....I wanted to go so bad, but I just couldn't make it, due to some unavoidable commitments.... It sucked. :(
If they had a performance like this here, I probably missed out on a concert experience of a lifetime...

Well, that's my guess... like I said, I wasn't there, and I have no other reference on how it went...The venue is pretty good... I've been to other concerts there.. That's why I wanted to go to this one so bad!... And of course, cause it was Epica.....!
