Downhill from "Unsung Heroes", their decline is obvious. For me the last good album was "From Afar".

The first half of Unsung Heroes is pretty good the second half of the album is boring ^^ One Man Army already was great again and it feels like two Paths is going to be even better :)

Side 3 might be a little boring, I agree, but side four, the 17-minute epic Passion, Proof, Power is ammaazzinggg (for me, anyway). Just when you think it's over and your mind has been blown, there are still 6 or 7 minutes still to come. I love the operatic vocals in this tune.

for me this is their first real step down, unsung heroes and one man army had things to offer, this on the other hand, forced me to listen to their whole discography again twice to make me remember that they are my favorite band

Point 1: this song sounds as a commercial sound as the "NEW" Ensiferum have been accustomed to us for some years. Regardless of this song, the entire album is fairly weak and mediocre, just as I had anticipated by listening to a few songs released in preview. "Two Paths" is their weaker album after "Unsung Heroes".
Point 3 is questionable: imho Jari has written great music during all these years, surely better than any Ensiferum album after his era.
