Not at first,but by 1965 Elvis took a serious turn, and it became a mutual admiration society . Why do people feel compelled to pit one great artist against another ? It’s stupid ,and not in the best interests of what the actual artists were all about . There are only Elvis ,and the Beatles that changed popular music for the best.
