This and Waterfall remind me of each other. Saw them 3 times in a row at the Spectrum in Philadelphia. It must have been in the late 70s(it's a little foggy). The last time they came out of a spaceship. A lot of good concerts back then. Oh well.

B-side of Mr Blue Sky. Flipped it over and got hooked by the best Jeff Lynne composition ever. Totally Brilliant. Supposed to be a protest song. He must have been in a bloody good mood when he wrote it!!

Hi that's exactly what happened for me too. My much older sister bought me Mr Blue Sky (I was 14). I played the B side and was astonished that something this good existed. From that moment on I went down the ELO back catalogue. And every album blew me away.

My favorite ELO song, from my favorite ELO album, Face the Music. Me and my school buddies used to listen to this song a lot, in my basement family room back in the 70's. They weren't even fans, but they loved this song, too.

Me encanta la sucesión de acordes de esta canción comenzando con un Do, Mim, Do7, fa  sol, Lam mim  Lam Fa. Por ahí hay una canción del Beatles McCartney que tiene una linea melodica muy parecida, se llama So Bad, sin embargo, esta canción de Electric Light Orchesta es del 73 y la de Paul McCartney del 81. Como sea ambos son excelentes temas Británicos. Gran Bretaña  quedó en deuda con la música desde el siglo XV al XIX en el siglo XX se puso al dia con los Beatles y Electric Light Orchestra entre otros. PS:  Heandel era Alemán y Purcell si bien era inglés no se compara a los musicos del siglo XX.
