Electric Light Orchestra - Heartbreaker Lyrics
One look and you know she's trouble
Ruby red lips and flashing eyes
Can't resist, you just gotta have her
Ooh it's a feeling that you can't disguise
You're booked on a one way ticket
She's a drug and you're not gonna kick it
Heartbreak city, she'll take you there
I know I've been here before
I read the script, I know the score
There's no rules, she plays her own game
She's a real heartbreaker and she brings on the rain
Rain (falling from the skies, falling from your eyes)
Rain (falling from the skies, falling from your eyes)
Thunder, can't you hear it crashing?
Storm clouds are waiting for you up ahead
Lightning, can't you see it flashing?
You haven't listened to a word I've said
Rain (falling from the skies, falling from your eyes)
Rain (falling from the skies, falling from your eyes)
Rain (falling from the skies, falling from your eyes)
Rain (falling from the skies, falling from your eyes)
Rain (falling from the skies, falling from your eyes)
Rain (falling from the skies, falling from your eyes)
Rain (she's a real heartbreaker, a heartbreaker)
Rain (falling from the skies, falling from your eyes)

Electric Light Orchestra Heartbreaker Comments
Got this tape from a Big Lots when I was 11 years old. Fell in love with it.
I have this CD
The beginning sounds like "Riders on the Storm"!
reminds me of born in the usa
Not the biggest fan of ELO Part 2, but this is definitely the best song on the album.
I like this song, a good driving rock out song.
I was blown away when I first heard it. Not exactly like ELO, but still good!
This album was listenable, but Moment of Truth was better. In fact, it took a couple of listenings for MOT to grow on me. They didn't make many albums.
haha fuck you youtube i think this song rocks, and anyone who thinks its just a "filler track lol" has clearly never been really REALLY fucked over by a woman and lived to tell the tale imho.
I think this is a great song I enjoy ELO + ELO part 2 both are great.
Yes, it is a great song!
As much as I will always admire what Jeff Lynne did with the original Electric Light Orchestra, I'm happy that my musical taste isn't governed by hero worship like some commenters.
I love the sound of ELO Part 2, and I LOVE this song!
I may be the only one on here who thinks this song isn't so bad! :/
@gks1986
So,can I say that you called this "shit song" just because you are revolted that this is not written by Jeff Lynne???^^
C'mon, man this is a great song!
De acuerdo!
Every album needs its fillers, and it's always hard to tell what tracks fans will like in particular. In the CD I wrote a couple years back, I received quite a few surprises when I got feedback from other artists in which songs they liked and didn't like.
Still, I agree, this song doesn't compare to the handful of gems on this CD, or probably even Jeff Lynn's worst tracks from New World Record of Out of the Blue.
You're right, it wasn't Jeff Lynn. Don't know why I put his name in this one, just a brain fart moment that nobody informed me of. There's probably others in my video descriptions too.
But I do disagree that this is a shit song.
