One of the best albums ever... I would like to thank Jeff Lynne for his songs, and productions they have helped me and others .
Music is very important, its the sound album of your life.

Muse has most likely been influenced by ELO.

Man ELO has some good stuff.

In 1981 I joined the army and since then this album sounds like the shortest and best from ELO for me, and Lynne sounds like a prophet here and there (21st cent man, Hold on tight etc). Fairly good!

I think that Golden Earing stole the back beat for their song Twilight Zone from this song. There's also a bit in here that sounds like part of "Walk Like an Egyptian" by The Bangles. Ever'body stealin from Jeff!

Same!! I knew only the hits before listening to The Traveling Wilburys, which made me fall in love with Roy Orbison. Then I saw Jeff live in July and now I am listening to all of ELO's songs! I am completely obsessed!
