a friend had this song on his mp3 player and by chance, I played two tracks because the name of the artist was funny.

what a happy discovery. Their music is so diverse too. Starlings sounds nothing like "Grounds for Divorce".

Here's hoping that his son will bring out even more wonderful music from Guy.

Still hauntingly beautiful

Elbow have shown an amazing evolve from a rock like feel with edge to a more subtle clam atmosphere with there latest two albums which I must say I love, they have kicked back now to a more relaxed tone, the takeoff and landing of everything and little fictions show great contrast from a warm perspective of nature and cold alike.

The only bad album they've done is Build A Rocket Boys. Which was to cater a more commercialsed audience.

the RJD2 remix takes this to a whole new place

So fucking good, my little brother lived with guy for a bit and they shared a Citroën 2cv together, this dude absolutely rocks and his music is absolutely unbelievable, Elbow are the most underrated beautiful band in a very Very Very long time

Also: this song is awesome, the visuals for the video...so disappointing.  Elbow, I'm a filmmaker, and I could have done a better job! 

This song dates back to before they hit the big time, I don't think they had much of a budget in those days! I love the video though.

Could not be more in love with this band. I fortunately got to meet them last year when they played in Adelaide and they are really nice down to earth lads!

All their albums are masterpieces, until Build A Rocket Boys was average really.

I'd say this was when they were massively underrated. After The Seldom Seen Kid they haven't got that spark they had.

@Olliey2k Yeah and on a video for a crappy b-side called Goldrush by Coldplay there were over 700,000 views and the top comment was a complaint about how few views there were. They just don't get it.

@nicocranker I saw a Miley Cyrus ad below a Feeder video once, and Miley Cyrus on any good music is just ridiculous.

So one year ago it was 390 views. At the time of typing this it's 42,231 views. Sure that's much less than what this video deserves but at least several thousand other people know of Elbow now eh?

This, like most elbow songs, I didn't like instantly when I first heard it, but it has grown on me and now I love this song, it really is beautiful, keep em coming Elbow!!
