I happened to find out by chance that Edwin Starr is buried in WestBridge Cemetery, just outside Nottingham. Sadly his grave was unkept, therefore my friend and I spent the whole afternoon clean his headstone and takeaway the overgrown grass around the grave!....It was a privilege to the SOUL MAN...RIP ...keep the faith to you all.....P.S

I have been looking for this for song for over 50 years. I remember when this song was released in 1966 I would sing only the background parts. However, I never bought the single and I could not remember the title or the artist.....I always thought it was a group singing as it has a group sound with all those voices being heard. And the DJ's in Los Angeles weren't always tenacious about letting you know the title or the artist of a song being played....or the DJ's would announce the title or the artist while the song was still playing. And I only heard the song at most five times during its very short run on the charts. However, quite by accident I happened to hear the song today on a mix tape that I found on Youtube.
