Easton Corbin - Someday When I'm Old Lyrics
Someday when I'm old
I'll pull up to the store
and park wherever I want to.
I'll buy a box of moonpies
yeah, like I was still 22
I'll bitch about $18
for a gallon of gas
down at the Texaco
Someday when I'm old
Yeah, someday when I'm old
I'll keep chewing gum in my front pocket
and cold Dr Pepper in the fridge
I'll let my daughter get mad
say I'm ruining their supper
when I give that stuff to my grandkids
Now I realize that somethings
they just don't matter
and how fast it all goes
Someday when I'm old
That clock just starts tickin
Oh the day that you're born
And no matter how much time you get
You always want more
Someday when I'm old,
I'll be the only one
who remembers you young, and beautiful
Your dark hair falling on that pillow case
all the secrets we shared, all the love that we made...
And I'll hold on to those precious moments
like pieces of gold...
someday when I'm old.

Love this song. Didn't realize how much I liked it until I looked at how many times I've played it on my iTunes...147! And counting. This guy sounds great... definitely reminds me of George Strait...just hope he doesn't turn to crap like Kenny Chesney did.
turn to crap like kenny Chesney did. do you really dislike someone that much that you call them crap.
like it
@Hicktown125 He was good on his first few but all of his gay songs now are about mexico and the beach and crap. aint nothin country about drinkin corona and bein outside of the south. he aint country no more broseph
Wow,,I close my eyes and go back to when I was 25 and listening to George Strait !! Hope this guy stays real and true to his country roots!
@Revolt2121 sorry to say it buddy, although hes contemperary..... Hes still real. He has made history in the genre and although hes changed over the years, he still is Kenny and will go down as one of the greatest. Listen to some early albums of his
@paulkorri i dont have to close my eyes to hear the king in him this guy is awesome
@crazzy1363 Gotta love his sound! He's got that old traditional sound i wished that Nashville had more often!
@rpgta It's sad the media shows only the Brittney Spears and Lindsey Lohans of this Country. This song reminds me of my Great Uncle's and the way I grew up, listening to my Grandfather sing "There's a Tear in My Beer" and "May the Bird of Paradise Fly Up Your Nose". It reminds me of his stories of his Grandfather and growing up on a farm and going to Topeka, Kansas once a month and getting ice cream. This song epitomizes what the US used to be everywhere and still is at its core
@crazzy1363 OMG SO I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS THIS!!!! D:
I thought I was crazy for a while, but I guess not!
@kyleemj and a little Montgomery Gentry
I am a european and God knows how much I love my old continent from the bottom of my heart but Corbin's music tells me about a different kind of USA that we see on television, with all that jumped-up popstars, billionaires etc. This is a USA I can love and respect, a USA that has something to transmit to the rest of the World. Keep up the good work Easton Corbin and God bless you!
This reminds me of that George Jones song "hotter than a 2 dollar pistol"
wait, this isnt a george strait song?
I love this song! Roll With It is one of my favorites too! and I LOVE Easton Corbin and George Strait they are both amazing! i I can't get enough of him! (:
What a voice, could listen to it forever!!!!!
He's got some ways to go to be really compared to Mr. Straight, but I think he is has potential to get there, just hope Nashville idiots don't screw it all up.
Sounds just like George strait !!!!! Hell yeah turn it up!!!!!!!
he is really good,he does sound like george stright
He sounds like George from his Strait country and Strait from the heart days
great song i want to meet him and sing with him one day
george straight.
His is one of the only albums I can listen to over and over. He's great!
Yeah he sounds really like George majorly in this song. Wow!
