Dylan, Bob - Make You Feel My Love Lyrics
When the rain is blowin' in your face
And the whole world is on your case
I could offer you a warm embrace
To make you feel my love
And there is no one there to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love
I know you haven't made your mind up yet
But I would never do you wrong
I've known it from the moment that we met
No doubt in my mind where you belong
I'd go hungry, I'd go black and blue
No, there's nothin' that I wouldn't do
To make you feel my love
The storms are raging on the rollin' sea
And on the highway of regret
The winds of change are blowing wild and free
You ain't seen nothin' like me yet
I could make you happy, make your dreams come true
Nothing that I wouldn't do
Go to the ends of the Earth for you
To make you feel my love

genius.
Hard to believe that bob Dylan ruined his own song
No one writes music like Bob Dylan does
Thank you for sharing this...Perfection...
I love this song!
Beautiful song by the poet laureate of rock music very emotional lyrically and musically simply put its amazing!
Guess im the only one who thought this was really bad. I will stick with Garth Brooks version.
Dylan is proof even a dog can get a record deal
Dylan won the Nobel Prize for Literature. Name one single dog that did it also. In fact, name one singer/songwriter in HISTORY that did it. People like you that don't like him, I get it, but to come on here and show your ignorance makes me laugh. Another Forrest Gump think-a-Like, this world doesn't need. And remember this: It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt
Well I guess I’m the only one who thought that this was Adele’s song.
It's from the album Time Out Of Mind: "Time Out of Mind is hailed as one of Dylan's best albums, and it went on to win three Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year in 1998. It was also ranked number 410 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time in 2012." But this version isn't the album version which is even more beautiful. His voice on this album fits beautifully the songs he sings. It's weary and hurt. An old soul. Another beautiful love song track you should check out is Standing In The Doorway. A song of outright pain for a love that was lost.
Garth Brooks did it in the 90s
Beautiful
Breathtaking.
His voice😜
Our Minnesota man...finest
You wouldn't know this song if it wasn't for Adele
I've heard Garth's version, Adele's too, had no idea Bob wrote it.
flon57 - who the hell is garth?
Here's the Norwegian version. I always cry when I listen to it. https://youtu.be/5A5kK3FnThM
Was this the demo? By "original" I thought you meant album version, which is this: https://youtu.be/fdWto-AUM3Q
Just stick to songwriting, Bob. Your voice has been shot for decades.
zamaz99 - what a beautiful voice! I'd love to hear him in a quatuor with Rod, Sting and Bryan
I thought this was Adele's
I love you Mr.zimmerman
Do you know what Bob Dylan did right? Everything. He chose to be himself. That means it couldn't have been any other way. And that is why he so great! Hey BD fans... really groovy song... Summer Days. Have fun!
Hes a phenomenal song writer
Bottom line.... Don’t Smoke cigarettes‼️‼️
Very lovely and romantic
Today is the 16th of October 2019 and 261 people don't like this. It never ceases to amaze me how people can't take authentic poise and talent. And to my friends that question Bobby's voice, his C is a C. His G is a G. What?
Bryan ferry is superb
Awesome song! from the world's greatest.Sadly though he refused to collect his Nobel peace prize.well written lyrics!.
I new it had to be Dylan when I heard Adele's cover. No one can write lyrics like him. "I'd go hungry, I'd go black and blue .. ."
Terrific poet/writer with one of the worst voices ever. Blowing in the wind. Yes I was around back then and never liked his voice but liked The Traveling Wiburys
Having only heard of this song from Garth Brooks and Adele and then hearing Bob Dylan's version for the first time is sublime. The guitar parts waver on the edge of out of tune and his voice is so unique. He sings the lyrics in a way that feels spontaneous, as if he found the words while waiting in line at the grocery check out. So cool!
This is the best version ever, played this at my husband John's funeral(tho I dont think he would ever have gone hungry for me 😂)and roll on John. Very special songs to us 😀
"life itself" bring me here, such a sad movie
Monzie Azmi same! Just finished watching and shed hopefully my last tear of the day!
I love the real grit in this song. Guitars not completely in tune and funky. His vocal phrasing is second to none. Bob dude you are a national treasure. Keep on keeping it real.
I heard this song to billy joel and Ronan Keatin wayback then i searched that Bob is the original thats cool!!!
Nothing can beat the ORIGINAL❤️
love this song I feel it deep in my heart
Same for me :)
0:32 what’s that look
Adele Billy Joel is Dylan?
"Life Itself" brought me here, both literally and figuratively. Loved the movie. Just finished watching it and had to hear this. I'll pick up the CD tomorrow.
@theshadow Thanks for posting this version of this great song. What album is this particular version found on? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Appreciate your help!
My god bob dylan sucks so much. How desperate and drug addled were the 60s to let this guy in.
Dylan wrote a great song here that has been covered by a number of great artists, but IMHO Joan Osborne does the best version of it... similar to Adele's version but more natural and unforced. It's the last song on her great (and sadly overlooked) album "Righteous Love."
This is not the album version
Оо дьэ, уол да уол👍👍👍
Absolutely Beautiful.Takes my breath away.
agree Carol ,absolutely ,If we could all write one like this for our ladies we would have many happy hearts.
Terrific song.
These comment usher a new religion in the future.
As Sam Cooke (no less) presciently remarked, Dylan would usher in appreciation for how expressive vocals are, v. how pretty. IMO Dylan exceptionally expressive when young over wide range of emotions, music. Alas, smoking, age, performing took quite the toll. Still, very much a legacy too via so many other singers' vocals, audience appreciation. I prefer Dylan's recorded originals to most all covers. Joan's Farewell Angelina exceptional IMO; Tears of Rage. Vedder's Masters of War.
Is this a bob dylan song?

Thank goodness real singers recorded this song! I never would have listened to it otherwise. But, well written, Dylan!
I love Bob Dylan and this song!!!

For Jazz.
This isn't the original version
Dylan has written so many amazing songs! I performed an acoustic version of this at one on my channel. What a great writer!!!
Tan linda!
This song is covered over and over BUT when you hear the writer the ORIGINATOR perform it. It just does something to ya❤❤
🦶🙃
Yea man every so often i delve into the treasure chest and find a gem
but Adele sounds better i think
Anthony Abbott have you heard Bryan Ferry’s. version my favourite I think
@3:00 the shot of Dylan at the Aust Ferry on the River Severn. So Iconic. I remmber a friend had (probably still has) a MASSIVE original print of this. Epic song, great montage of shots. Total chills.
Juste pour comparer avec Whitney sur The Voice France....
Not the original..thats on Time Out Of My Mind
He is a legend....
brilliant
you do me wrong all the time Oh yeah this is just a song lol
Many younger people name titles of shows ..characters... Etc. Have no idea the great artist who was a lyricist beyond great. Bob Dylan
Was? Is.
From an era that was simply simple in many ways.. You sent me this... ******I could let you hold me for a million years*****... To make me feel your love... 💞
Am always moved by the poetry in these stunning lyrics — and some wonder how it is Dylan was awarded the Nobel. And his voice is perfect for the lyrics.
Whoever this is totally ripped this off from Adele.
Lmao, know your facts. (Nice troll)
Dylan is a rock and roller ,,,,, and prophet
Such a Travesty to make you steal my fame and lyrics Garth Dirty Brooks, lol
one of the greatest music talents ever. Genius
Is that baby Jacob?
First heard Dylan in college pop culture class. Since then I was like man he is a brilliant artist. I love his lyrics and his voice.
I love Dylans voice, I can't understand why some don't
Today a voice has to be beautiful, because it's makes more money.
But I love Dylans voice, too. Because it's original and true :-)
Thank you for bringing me here Adele. Love ya bob. Always have. Always will. But I was not aware until now this was your sultry voice singing it originally. I should’ve guessed from the poetic wizardry. I doth my cap to you good sir xxx
LOVE THIS SONG ...........THANK YOU Bob Dylan ...............magic song 🙏🙏🙏💕💕💕💕💕
Love Bobby D.!
great montage of images
I think the total presentation of Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love" is so unique that any cover done of the song really does not do it justice. Even though the covers are vocally good, they lack the passion that Dylan put into all his music, particularly this song. They are what they are, imitations. The original version literally gives you chills because you know he feels every word he is singing and makes you feel it too.
