Dusty Springfield - Arrested By You Lyrics

What is this strange elation?
Taking my train of thought to an unknown destination
And suddenly I don't know where I am
But like a tremor or a spark
Something's happening in my heart

I've been arrested by you
Take me in, oh, oh, oh
Finally captured by you, by you and by you
Take me in
I've been arrested by you
Take me in, oh, oh, oh
Finally captured by you, by you and by you
Take me in

You've broken my concentration
Saving me just in time from a desperate situation
And suddenly, I don't know who I am
But my dilemma's where to start
Something's happening in my heart

I've been arrested by you
Take me in, oh, oh, oh
Finally captured by you, by you and by you
Take me in
I've been arrested by you
Take me in, oh, oh, oh
Finally captured by you, by you and by you
Take me in

I've been arrested by you
Take me in, oh, oh, oh
Finally captured by you, by you and by you
Take me in
I've been arrested by you
Take me in, oh
Finally captured by you, oh, oh
Take me in
I've been captured, captured, captured, captured
Oh, baby
Oh, ho,
Take me baby
Oh, oh, oh, oh

_magick tea-pot_ . obviously! the thing would be tardis-like in size, anyhoo.
I'd go to the '80's and hear this play in, idk, limelight or studio 54, or an equally uber-camp *_discoteque_* *........*

    f.... ....

@firecloud77 While respecting your rights and feelings, allow me to point out that some of the worst renditions of songs are those by their composers, think Burt Bacharach or Randy Newman.

    f.... ....

@Alan Ellaway Judgement about renditions are subjective. I'm simply pointing out that Rupert Hine wrote this song and I prefer his rendition and invite others to listen to his and make up their own mind. There is no right or wrong judgement.

    f.... ....

    @firecloud77
I prefer the rendition by Hate Beak
