I sat on the corner pavement by the office at Butlins in the early 70's it was played over the speaker system, I returned there with my children in the late 80's I stopped at the same corner and this song played again in my head....fab

I remember this when it was released one of their best singles ever, actually had the privilege of meeting the lead singer in England at a charity event in the 90’s at a hospital in the city where I lived.

Regularly played at Parkhead on Saturday afternoons before kick off 1973/74.

This song is so true to the words. I was in a relationship for nearly 4 months. Sadly it collapsed 2 days after my birthday 3 weeks ago. We were so close. We said to everyone we are both like brother and sister. Looking out for each other, until we were alone together.

No mobile phones, iPads dreary reality tv - Saturday night was disco night.
These songs are still as fresh as ever and take me right back

Always reminds me of the rare occasions I went to the beach at Burleigh Heads in early seventies when i was a teen with no car and no means. Still I wish I had the time over. I wish I knew how time would fly. These days when having fun, I pinch myself just to be in that moment! It’s gone in the blink of an eye!

50,s 60s 70s when records sold in there millions perhaps for are great reason. Great talented people singing or playing great songs.

I don't hear this song very often, but it always reminds me of a short lived liaison I had with a lady in the 1980's.
It was great but it was never going to last.Now,at pushing 60,I haven't got the will to be bothered anymore.As Boy George said 'I'd rather have a nice cup of tea'!
