I think it sounds like paramore, not just because there’s a female vocalist, but she sounds just like paramore’s singer? And the song structure itself is just very paramore-esque

I don’t see it as a bad thing that they’re being compared to Riot era paramore, because that’s a sick album and sound, and this reminds me of that.

To the people who mention/compare to Paramore who are just looking to stir things up, create arguments and have literally got nothing better to do in life than to sit behind a screens and talk garbage....Just go away.

Dreamhouse are not Paramore. They are themselves and they are good in their own way.

why does everyone automatically gear to the paramore comments when they discover a new band w a female vocalist? came here to listen to dreamhouse, and i hear a killer song from dreamhouse. let them be them.

@KachZz no, it's not that 90% of it sounds like Paramore, it's that about 90% of the people need to open their minds up to accept something new for once. I have not heard many bands at all that sound anything like Paramore. But I see the comparisons on literally every band who has a female vocalist. Bands like Icon for Hire, The Letter Black, City of the Weak...bands that sound absolutely nothing like Paramore. The "ComParamoring" needs to stop. It's gotten way to old. Y'all need some new material. The "it sounds like Paramore" is outdated now.

@Richie Herlinger That's the problem that it's nothing new :D there are bunch of bands with female vocals and somewhat original sound - PVRIS I guess is the most popular example. I have nothing against Dreamhouse and their fans, I just state the obvious fact that it sounds like Paramore from 2000s....even Paramore doesn't sounds like that anymore haha.

@KachZz Let's clear up one thing you just said. You said it's on obvious fact that this band sounds like early Paramore. Wrong. For one, that is not a fact, it's an opinion. Saying one band sounds like another is never a fact. Saying it does not make it a fact. It's an opinion. And becoming a more and more unpopular opinion every day, because people are getting sicker and sicker of seeing "this sounds like Paramore" on every single video of a band that has a female lead. So if all you have to say is "It sounds like Paramore"...do yourself and everyone else a favor and keep that comment to yourself. If you have nothing else to say, then don't say anything at all. Because seeing that same old comment EVERYWHERE is old. No one wants to hear it anymore. We get it, there are those out there who think every band with a female lead sounds like Paramore, but we don't need to see it every single time. So the next time you're on a video with a female singer and all u can think of to say is "They sound like Paramore"...don't say anything at all. Just move on.
