Really Great song! One of my favourites this year so far. But the Video was kinda wierd. Why not stick to the great Location and light Setting you had? Maybe Focus on one Extra/Protagonist instead of putting so many out of context. The double exposure sure looked cool, but lost it effect and didnt quite work all the time. Bass Player is a beast yo !

Saw these dudes last night at Stay Gold with The Getaway Plan and Ocean Sleeper and some other opening band which I wish I knew the name of... These guys were fucking mint. They threw Downfall into the set which was sick.

Seen them a few times now and they're always solid. Crowd loves them.

It’s quite reasonable to say that Melbourne-based Post Hardcore outfit Dream on Dreamer have made some major shifts in their musical direction since the release of last year’s album It Comes And Goes. Their new single Love continues to put Marcel’s clean vocal range to the forefront whilst adding deeper layers of lush electronics and strings. This time though Marcel’s vocals seem a lot more organic and natural while Zac’s are pushed into the background with a degree of ruggedness in the power-driven, melodic chorus.

Lyrically the band continue to focus on the themes of heartbreak and the ending of a romantic relationship. Whilst it’s far from original, at least there’s a rawness and urgency to their songwriting and vocal delivery that makes you forgive the simple nature of the lyrics. The music video directed by Ed Reiss combines a cold snowy backdrop with pink and orange lighting, ghost-like double exposures of Marcel and Zac plus some interesting portrait-style split screens.
