The above photo is without question the best Dramatic lineup of all time, left to right, 1) RJ Reynolds) 2) Lenny Mays, 3) Ron Banks, 4) Willie Ford, and last but not least is 5) William "Wee Gee" Howard. "Wee Gee" sang lead on the Dramatics greatest hits during the early years, " Whatcha See is Whatcha You Get," "In The Rain," and "Hey You, Get Off My Mountain." "Wee Gee" did not get the credit from the group or the group's management that he clearly deserved. I don't know why, maybe someone knows the reason? He definitely had the voice.

I always wanted to know their names, especially Wee Gee my favorite. Thanks for sharing.

Man this song brings back so many great memories. I grew up listening to the Dramatics and they are my all time favorite group. This song is so sad because this song even though it is about a love for the memories of a woman, it could be about the guy's love for the group and all the things (songs) they had done together prior to their break up. I was 19 when this song came out and I had been missing the Dramatics myself for so many years. I first started listening to them when I was a very small child when songs like, Get Off My Mountain, What You See Is What You Get. My most fondest memories of the Dramatics is when I was 10 years old and that damn Joy Ride album came out that my momma bought having songs like, I Can't Get Over You, Be My Girl, Say The Word, After This Dance. Oh my goodness that was an awesome album! But anyways, I had been missing the Dramatics when this song came out and that was the feeling I immediately felt when my momma came home and put the needle on the groove of this song.

Some of the best harmony of all times and I see we have eighteen tone deaf people ! How can you not love the Dramatics ?

the generation of today has no concept of "real" music, these were the days when music was written from the hearty and soul, no autotune,no mix, no artificial noises,sounds,voiceovers.i am in my 50's and i still get chills from songs like this, as well as songs from other greats,smokey and the miracles,the dells,the delfonics,the temptations,the stylistics,and other greats that defined music, when things were more simple, a song had meaning,and a nice afternoon on the porch, alone,or with someone special,was all you needed to enjoy yourself-thankful to have all this good music to play, close your eyes, and go back in time.

omg. I used to listen and love this song when i was a kid. Never realized the dramatics sang it!

Loved the Dramatics for so long, had a conversation with Ron Banks and another new member walking to our cars after the homecoming of Levi Stubbs here in the D. And soon after he was gone. I was sad.

Listening to these songs really bring back some very fond memories, these are the true meaning of lives songs you feel the words, these songs melt my heart away they touch on so much that is true when it come to love!! Great music by great talent!! Can't get enough!!

I had a God given moment with Ron banks,lead singer of the dramatics. We were at the ren cen in Detroit mich, wow I was only 16 at the time. He actually was a gentleman. He ask General questions, complimented my appearance and went on his way. I think he had a room there. I actually never heard of him,he had to tell me. I always meet entertainers. Maybe for what reason,I don't know. Lol

I mat Ron banks in my home town; Detroit mich. at a lounge call the rose, in. 1991. He asked my name,, and offered to buy me a drink!!! He was so kind and such a gentleman !!!!!
