I happened to see these young ladies completely by accident in the early 1990's in San Diego when I went to a club to see someone else. Don't even remember who that was. But when I walked into the club, this band was rocking Shot Down in Flames by AC/DC, and then segued into several similar songs without missing a beat. They sounded awesome. Can't remember exactly what else they played, but it was similar genre, and it sounded real and played with total conviction. I'd never heard of them before, and figured I'd never hear of them again, but I plonked down $10 to buy this CD nonetheless cause I love bands that rock for real. Their parents came and covered them with long quilted coats after the show, then escorted them out. I played the heck out of this CD - classic rock with lots of clever hooks. The band was young and hungry. There are a couple of really awesome songs on this album that will live on - I'm putting them on a playlist for my son, who's mostly into rap but requested a rock playlist as he goes to college. Glad they made it big later on, then never sold out.
