Great song and good video but I just can't stand it when it looks like the band members were instructed to pretend play their guitars.
I'm speaking about the part of the video @3:00. It just looks so overacted it's sickening! I guess you could say, "I'm not down with the sickening". 😆 Nah, it's all good. I'm sure it wasn't by choice but probably their video producer who called that one.

I almost committed Suicide because of my Jacob's death but then this song came on and it Saved me goodbye Jacob we will always be friends.
Today I almost Shot myself because nobody ever cared my girlfriend cheated on me because she hates me because of my medical problems and she was a gold digger to and someone please don't save me I deserve death because my baby sister has cancer and I want to protect her in the afterlife.

About eleven years ago my best friend Jacob died because was he shot because his friend was mad because his girlfriend cheated him with Jacob but this was Jacob's favorite song and band so I listen to this song to honor him goodbye Jacob I will always be your friend no matter what.

According to some media outlets this video looked too simular to 9/11. I don't see how they came up with this. These images have nothing to do with that. I just don't see the connection. That is what forwarded me to this video.

This is the stuff greatness is made, it's not just the sound of the music but the message and lyrics in the songs mixed with the music video. There nostalgia here and lots of it before all the commercialized music of today. This song has a feeling of resentment and sarcasm towards God, given his use of the line "Living just isn't hard enough." The light feels like a resolution, like a realization of why God allows calamity to happen, "Sometimes the darkness can show you the light." Although the 9/11 incident that inspired the song was tragic, it brought out the best of humanity in the form of the heroes of the time and the first responders, and it also opened our eyes that something must be done about the evil in the world.
