This song reminds me of my grandma that passed away last December and I still dream about her being alive and spending time with her. I cry every time I hear this song.

No one is gonna care but When I was little I had a older friend named April. we hade listen to this song together. I was her best friend and only friend, a lot of the kids would bully her for hanging out with me and they thought she was a baby. After school she would hide at my house more often after the bullying it got worst. We would always listen to the song until one day she didn’t come to my house and I thought she just went home. But it turned out she hade jumped of the bridge that was a few blocks from our school. I hadn’t known though because she was missing but they found her body a few days afterwards. I was heartbroken and I wished I could do some thing. Im sorry im not good at english but this year was so hard . im passing by a big important phase of my life but no one is trying to help or understanding me . my parents are only yelling and pushing me i found myself isolated but i was talking to a virtual friend he really helped me and the first time of my life i found myself interested comfortable and first time someone makes me feel special even he gave me confident but know we dont talk like we used and he found to himself a girlfriend . the sad that i once confused to him but he refused me with polite . its normal cause iam a virtual friend after all . so every time i listen to this song i cry and remember him

This song makes me think of my late first girlfriend Jackie, she died when I was 14, she got into a car accident, and she, and her stepfather were killed. And at the time, we were both really into harry potter drarry fanfiction (don't ask) and we would read/write them together, and every time we did, we would blast this song.
I don't know why...It's been 10 years, but ever time I hear this song I cry, and then I find my old google account, sign in, and read the old fanfiction we used to write. She always inspired me to share my storys with the world, and she was kind, and really funny
because she always made jokes about going to hell, and now I feel like she would be looking down on me from heaven say "I barely made it v, I bearly made it.",and then she would laugh and call me a loser.

It's obvious this song is about loss in one way or another. Not everyone is saying death, but it's clear that everyone sees it as the loss of a loved one in some form. I see this song as one from the point of view as someone who had a close friend who committed suicide. Especially with the line "I'd die to be where you are" and "love turns to ashes with all that I wish I could say"
