Diana Ross - With A Child's Heart Lyrics

With a child's heart
Go face the worries of the day
With a child's heart
Turn each problem into play

No need to worry
No need to fear
Just being alive
Makes it all so very clear

That's with a child's heart
Nothing can ever get you down
With a child's heart
You've got no reason to frown

Love, love is welcome
As a sunny, sunny day
No grownup thoughts
To lead our hearts astray

Take life easy
Easy like a child
So gay and care free
Yeah

Love, love is welcome
As a sunny, sunny day
The whole world smiles with you
As you go your own merry way

'Cause with a child's heart
Nothing can ever get you down
With a child's heart
We've got no reason to frown

Diana Ross With A Child's Heart Comments
  1. K.... Z....

This was going to be Diana's first single when she became a solo artist.

  2. R.... B....

without a doubt Michael Jackson's version is the best this doesn't come close.

  3. B.... ....

She sounds so wonderful here because she is singing in a lower pitch than usual or because it was 1968/ 1969 here and her voice had naturally lowered in pitch by this time. Check out her "make someone happy" performance with the supremes from 1967. That is just bomb right there

BroccoliQueefed just because you sing lower doesn't mean your voice has lowered. She's always had this lower register even as far back as meet the Supremes go back and check out "Your heart belongs to me".

Nice song. other versions by Michael jackson & Stevie wonder. All versions are good.

  5. M.... T....

I love it but Michael's version it' s better bc he is child and he is giving pain to the song and he mean it he feel it he' s not just singing the song!

no over singing or melisma, just a beautiful, crystal clear voices. i could listen to the Supremes forever, infact i have since i first discovered them 31 years ago, they make me happy x

i so agree with you! i have have that conversation many times with many people who just didn't get the importance of MOTOWN and DIANA ROSS and THE SUPREMES.

Diana Ross was a trailblazer. No one and I mean no one (including Martin Luther King) did more for racial equality than Miss Ross. Her crossover appeal was tremendous.

    frankie hunter What racial equality?

  10. E.... ....

Interesting...this track is solely Ross...no backing vocals
