Oh, one of my faves from this album . . . I know Miss Cindy and Miss Mary aren't on this, and at the time I "sort of felt" they weren't on this album, but nonetheless, I played it all the time. Diana's vocal, once again, SUPREME.
I know myself it was The Andantes on background on this album but they do a great job.
If it is the Andantes in the background then the cover of the album should have been entitled Diana Ross and the Andantes and Diana's photo cover should have had Diana posing with a picture of the Andantes. I am sure glad I resisted buying this album when it was first released as I don't like being made a fool of by Berry Gordy. Somehow I sensed that this album was a Diana Ross solo effort...that is why I did not buy this album. Plus this album does not have the group magic that was so prevalent in the Diana, Mary and Florence albums.
Jack Anthony, Your a smart man!! When Flo left and HDH left the Supremes lost their magic and never sounded the same. The truth was in their records. Cindy might have fit into Flo's gowns but she certainly could not fill Flo's shoes.
