This song is Lit. This beautiful Gem should have been all over Adult Comtemporary and R&B stations. This song was to sophisticated and too mature for Pop stations because of the Era of it's makings. Plus, I'm not a big fan anymore of Pop music. It lost it's zest and profound footprint in the early 90's. Completely underappreciated! Beautifully done! You go Diana! Love it!

I think Miss Ross' reputation, true or not, has hurt her career. It didn't help when Mary Wilson wrote her book and trashed Diana.

When a song by Ms. Ross begins to play, you know within a couple of words that it is her voice. It is clear and fresh and perfectly unique. The greatest stars are instantly recognizable, and she is surely one of the greatest. This is a terrific song and another great performance.

The entire Take Me Higher CD was terrific. Such a shame it didn't get the accolades it so richly deserved. I think Whitney would have done a great job also, but something special about Miss Ross' delivery on this song.

It brings back memories of the past of all the girls I have dated and also admired.
Also for some reason it makes you realize how fast time goes by.
I remember 2000 like it was 2 yrs ago when we all waited for poer to gop out and computers to shut down and so on.

@1269elroy funny u mentioned that performance I was just watching it on DVD and i came on here to see if it was still posted (its been posted and deleted many times). I was there at the taping and it was because Whitney had been in tabloids that BOBBY had beat her this weekend so she was getting a lot of love that night. But the biggest ended up on tv and thats where u see Diana. That was Soul Train Hall of fame 1995.
