Diana Ross - Turn Around Lyrics

Where are you going my little one, little one
Petals and petticoats, where did they go
Turn around and you're two
Turn around and you're four
Turn around and you're a young girl
Going out of the dorm

Turn around, turn around
Turn around and you're a young girl
Going out of the door

Where are you going my little one, little one
Where are you going my baby my own

Turn around and you're a young wife
With babes of your own

Turn around, turn around
Turn around and you're a young wife
With babes of your own

Turn around, turn around
Turn around and you're a young wife
Turn around and you're a young wife
With babes of your own

Where are you going my little one, little one
Blooms of red roses, where did they go?
Turn around and you're young
Turn around and you're old
That's a sure way to travel
And so I had been told

Turn around, turn around
Turn around and you're a young wife
Turn around and you're a young wife
With babes of your own

This song was used in a Kodak commercial back in the 1960's when it was first done by Harry Belafonte, but this track came from the LP "Last Time I Saw Him" where she did her version of a Kodak song. It ranked up with "The Times Of Your Life" by Paul Anka which was another song for the Kodak commercial back in the 70's.

@babylove410 as a parent, it would be difficult not to tear up when listening to this song. a bittersweet reminder of days gone by and how quickly they flew by. and now they are young adults, but will always be your child...

My daughter is 17 and when she was born, I already knew that this song was going to be played at her wedding with our first dance. There will be a video of her growing up to go along with the music. I'm getting teary eyed right now.
