Name me another singer who with a whispering seductive "Hey" can totally blow a song instantly into another orbit ..... the simple guitar slides which resonate up and down the fret board which figure prominent yet stay subtle as to not interfere with her singing ... the musical transition with chimes and extremely quiet begin at the :50 point and the song truly unfolds from here and the background singers enter the fray you reach that "Just Wow " moment . Then in Herb Albertesque fashion a trumpet appears from out of nowhere seriously who the hell would think of brilliantly adding a horn accompaniment at just the right time and all it of it done mastered and recorded while leaving Diana's singing in the forefront Then the guitar and bassline take over once again and suddenly in one of the most humbly sung yet unforgettable lines ever in song "Didn't we take each other to a place where no one's ever been " If that one expression of feeling, of love, of longing doesn't nearly bring you to tears then maybe I'm on the wrong planet lol .... and that voice that voice just wow just wow

Reminds me of my Mum when my Dad left ....she used to sing and get us dancing with her. Those were the 60’s, the days when women like my Mum dealt with so much but let loose dancing. We had nothing but an old record player. My Mum was 27 with 3 of us on her own. They were the best days of my childhood...listening to these anthems and dancing 💃 dancing 🕺
