Diana Ross - The Long And Winding Road Lyrics
The long and winding road
That leads to your door
Will never disappear
I've seen that road before
It always leads me here
The wild and windy night
That the rain washed away
Has left a pool of tears
Crying for the day
Why leave me standing here
Let me know the way
Many times I've been alone
And many times I've cried
Many ways I've tried
Still they lead me back
To the long winding road
You left me standing here
A long long time ago
Don't leave me waiting here
Lead me to your door
But still they lead me back
To the long winding road
You left me standing here
A long long time ago
Don't leave me waiting here
Lead me to your door

Diana Ross The Long And Winding Road Comments
Love the original but this diana version excels. Supreme cover by a true legend and true icon
❤❤❤ Diana! What can I say?? A voice and beauty that will be a part of all of us FOREVER!!❤☺
Disastrous cover and I love Diana and the Beatles. "Imagine" was a commendable cover. But this? Absolutely dreadful arrangement.
how sweet.. perfect as she is and how proud i am to have been living in such an era
wow ....what a finish on the end of
song!! only Diana Ross could do!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for the video… 👍 So Beautiful! 💙

QUE BONITA DIANA!!!!
Beyoncé from the 70's
never ....a Beyonce ...ewww!!!!!
For me, even better from the original!!!
So emotional, comes close, so so close like the originately, sang by Sir Paul, i mean.....close to the feeling that brings the first one!!!!!
I've listened to Melba, Aretha and now Diana sing this song. I love how each one of them brought a different interpretation to this beautiful song. Aretha put the gospel and soul into it, while Diana gave it such a sweet and sexy sound.
only Dianna can cover so so so beautiful this masterpiece.
She's the ONLY one!!!!!
WOW! Blessed
So sweet.....it's a different interpretation and the arrangement of the melody is fabulous....she kills
I love the arrangement and the innocence in her voice......the orchestra that surrounds her is amazing......
YOU SING IT YOUR....!!!!!!!!...WAY MISS ROSS...!!!...LOVE IT...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Imagine" also performed by Diana Ross.
Baby love!
There is only ONE Diana Ross, and she is the truest meaning of Superstar that we will ever have!
I love Diana's voice. She whines when she sings. I love that.
Terrible cover.
rickw1100 To each his own, I guess dammit, u can do better. Well, Im waiting for u to start baying @ the moon, mammyfucker!
Hello all. Listen to Melba Moore doing this......She kills it!. Diana.....nah!
Melba's version is the definitive version, but I like this, too. This is very simple and pure, like old school country music. It doesn't, she doesn't try to be what she isn't, and she understands her limitations.
Caramba, nem acredito que estou vendo esse disco por aqui.
É incrível e foi um dos tributos a beatles que mais amei. Lembra-me muito dias bons, simplórios e inesquecíveis da minha vida. Passado que vale mt recordar. :))
Essa musica marcou muito a minha vida.
Of course, she can do it. Doing so would place it in the same range as "WDOLG", etc. She just has to be convinced.
The orchestral movements were also shunned by McCartney and for good reason. You are right on target. But I'm not sure she has the ability to sing a full step lower.
Thank you Miss Ross. Love you...
It love it just the way she sings it!
Had she sung this a full step lower, sans backing singers & horns, this could have been a major hit for her.
Thanks for posting.:)
